Where is the safest place for forward facing car seat?
Ok i know the middle is the safest for rear facing, but what about forward facing?
Thanks guys! I was just wondering cause when they are rear facing, in an accident they would fly into the back of the car seat. with forward facing , there is that open space between the driver and passenger seat so nothing really in front ohter than the windshield you know?

It’s still the middle. My husband is a police officer and nationally certified to install child seats in our state and he always stresses the importance of putting any child seat in the middle of the backseat whenever possible.
Same for forward facing: back seat in the middle. We keep my daughter’s on the side, but that is because there are 2 car seats in the car.
In the middle in a car seat appropriate for the child. Either go to the hospital, fire house, or police station to get the car seat installed and then have them help you buckle your child into the seat; just so you can get an idea of just how tight the child has to be strapped in to make it the safest possible.
