Yes, they will pay you for the damaged car seats. They will likely ask you for a replacement receipt, and deduct for depriciation. The will also take the old seats as salvage.
You should be paid in full for the seat that is one month old. However, if the ACV of your totaled van exceeds the other party’s policy limits, you will have to file suit directly against him for compensation.
As you do not have receipts, the Insurance co will pay to replace the seats less depreciation on the older seats. See if you can locate them online for pricing purposes and present this information to the insurance co. They have to reimburse for the same type of seat.
Tell the company that you are making a claim for the replacement of the carseats.
If you have the paypal invoice, send them a copy.
Otherwise for the older seat w/ no receipt, they will look into the cost of a new seat and would deduct for depreciation
