Good, you just keep thinking that way, for another 10 years give or take! Babies are expensive! And at 16, I’m sure you want to be spending money on yourself, and not a baby!
Babes need warm breast milk and a place to sleep.
Even diapers are optional, we don’t use them. (see elimination communication, or natural infant hygiene).
Call Obama! He may need to bail YOU out
yeah but they arent ‘essentials’ that is a lot of stuff and u dont need it all
u dont even need a dresser or a baby changing unit – just buy a changing mat and change them on the floor.. and u can pick up clothing very cheap off ebay, no point wasting money cuz they grow out of clothes so quick!
Wow, you have a lot of totally useless things on your list!
crazy when you actually add it all up huh? You are one of the few who actually think about the cost before having a baby….now can you imagine feeding a teenager or trying to pay for college?
when we were trying to have our first baby we had made a budget for what it would be like with a child……we were very wrong
we used to be able to go out to dinner whenever we wanted i could go shopping every now and then didnt have to worry about how much i was spending at the grocery store…could get my hair cut and get a pedicure buy as many lattes as i wanted……all that stopped when we had a baby and even then more cut backs. It is all worth it in the end and i wouldnt trade it for the world but it is definately something to consider before having a baby
I guess that total is possible if your baby is going to have designer clothes and 10 carat diamond necklaces.
Im glad to see there is smart 16 year olds out there !
Props to you for realizing it is not cheap.
babies need qualified parents who love them, milk, and and love.
More than half of what you wrote is unecessary.
Bottles aren’t neccessary
Formula definitely isn’t necessary
"baby powder, elmo bath set" are not at all necessary
Even diapers aren’t "necessary".
Babies don’t need those types of material things, not even to be "spoiled".
What babies SHOULD have are smart sensible responsible and mature parents.
Babies deserve better than 16 year olds without a high school diploma for a mother.
I’m glad to see you have some common sense, but the fact that you were even CONSIDERING having a baby beforey ou made this list scares me.
It isn’t about material things.
It’s a major life change and a LIFELONG commitment.
Finish school.
Get a job
Get a home.
Get married.
Then start worrying about baby needs.
